In all honesty, I spent 90% of 2017 feeling completely overwhelmed as a mother.
When I was pregnant with Lawson, we did hypnobirthing, and it helped SO much with my mental state. But when Lawson was born, I really struggled to find anything to replace it. No positive affirmations, no relaxation techniques, just nothing to help us new mums out a bit!
So I figured I would make my own ‘hypno-mothering’ (admittedly, the name needs some work…)
These are the positive affirmations that I use on a daily basis to help me stay mentally sane when I’m feeling overwhelmed. They are simple, effective, and allow you to collect your thoughts and regroup when you have your 20 second pee break!
