Each month, I have decided to do a series of ’roundup’ posts, showing you my very favourite products from some of my very favourite brands.

I am a bit of a nursery decor fanatic, and I love being able to showcase and promote small businesses, so I’m very excited to share these finds with you!

This month I am focusing on PLAYMATS. For me, the perfect playmat would be stylish and functional, and with this in mind, I have found five playmats that I’m absolutely in love with!

The Nursery Edit stock some of the most incredible brands for nursery interiors, such as Mama Designs, Snuz and TellKiddo. The products they stock are full of Scandi, monochrome goodness, and I am totally in love with this mat from Ooh Noo. Not only would it look amazing in any nursery (monochrome goes with anything, right?!) But it doubles up as a little race track for babies to play with cars/trains/blocks etc! I know that Lawson would absolutely love something like this, so it had to go in my top picks! You can find The Nursery Edit on Instagram: @thenurseryedit

You may notice that we have something pretty similar to this mat in our nursery. We were lucky enough to brand rep for Sorens House a while back, and I can highly recommend these mats! Again, they will look incredible in any nursery, there is a huge range of designs, from lions, to rabbits, and they are honestly so comfy and soft for babies. This brand are probably one of my favourites that I have come across on Instagram. I’ve never seen anything like these before for babies, and I’m in love! Their mats are basically giant knitted play mats that just look so comfy and cosy for babies to play on. They come in a range of different colours and I’m a bit obsessed. This gorgeous Polish brand have a real knack for creating beautiful nursery interiors, and their playmats give me all the heart eyes! I particularly love this print called ‘Only Positive’ – it’s double sided and the pom pom detailing is gorgeous! This would look perfect in a monochrome nursery, or in a teepee! I have seen these beauties dotted about in people’s nurseries on Instagram, and I had to check them out for myself! What I love about the Play Pouches is that they are so practical! Not only are they stylish and create a great little space for your little ones to play, but the fact that they double up as storage is a massive win in my book! They come in all sorts of different designs, and are really reasonably priced too! Find them on Instagram @playpouchuk

So that is my modern nursery roundup for October, I hope it’s given you a bit of inspiration or helped in discovering some new brands that are rocking it.

If you have any favourite brands for nursery decor, leave me a comment and I’ll be sure to check them out! I’m always after new inspiration!
